§ Mr. Peter LloydPrecise information is not yet available on the number of persons who will be eligible for incentive payments in 1989–90. The latest estimate is that incentive payments paid in 1989–90 will be £920 million, of which £370 million relates to 1987–88 and £550 million to 1988–89.
