To ask the Secretary of State for Energy when he next intends to meet the representatives of the offshore trade unions.

Mr. Parkinson

I will be meeting the EETPU on 27 February and the TUC on 28 February. On 5 April, my right hon. Friend the Minister of State will be chairing a meeting of the offshore industry liaison committee which includes representatives of the oil industry, suppliers, and trades unions.
