The Housing Corporation is responsible for allocating its capital programme to housing associations, including housing co-operatives, within the broad framework agreed by my right hon. Friend. I have therefore asked the chairman of the Housing Corporation to respond to the hon. Member direct. The hon. Member may care to note that, with effect from April, the Housing Corporation's responsibilities will relate to associations in England only.
