§ Mr. Needham[holding answer 10 January 1989]: This is a matter for the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and the chief executive has advised me that a total of 22 dwellings were completed; advertisements in relation to 19 dwellings were placed in the Belfast Telegraph, News Letter, and Irish News on 16 April 1985, in the County Down Spectator and Newtownards Chronicle on 18 April 1985 and in the Down Recorder on 19 April 1985; 14 applications were received; 10 firms were invited to tender; 689W eight tenders were received and the contract was awarded to the second lowest tenderer. A further three dwellings were added to the contract in negotiation with the successful tenderer.
