§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyThe Department of the Environment is represented on a working group on bats organised by the advisory committee on pesticides which is a group of independent experts who advise Government on pesticides. The working group will consider the report of the Institute of Terrestrial Ecology on lindane and bats amongst other evidence and report its findings to the advisory committee.
