§ Mr. Peter MorrisonBritish embassies and trade missions have available to them the literature and contacts provided by the trade associations of the energy efficiency industry, and the services of the Department of Energy and the Department of Trade and Industry. Ministers and officials of both Departments frequently promote the British energy efficiency industry overseas. The identification and follow-up of export opportunities is one of the objectives of the energy efficiency office.
My right hon. Friend will be meeting the chairman of the Association for the Conservation of Energy shortly and will be very happy to discuss these matters with him.
