To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in how many of the 15 daily newspapers circulating in Northern Ireland the Monopolies and Mergers Commission inserted a notice inviting representations in connection with the proposed takeover of BelfastNewsletter and Sunday News by Thomson Regional Newspapers; what was the size of the notice in the press; and what is the normal size for similar notices published by the commission.
