§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyThe principal United Kingdom input to the world climate conference will be through the Meteorological Office although representatives from the Department are also likely to attend. The Department is commissioning scientific work in this area through its air pollution research programme and if relevant the scientists responsible will be encouraged to submit papers.
