§ Mr. TrippierEach of the local authorities who receive urban programme grant produce an annual report on achievements in their areas. Annual reports on the programme as a whole have been published each year since 1985–86 setting out details of the operation and achievements of the urban programme. The most recent "DoE Inner City Programmes 1987–88", reporting on the whole range of DoE inner city policies and programmes, was published in December 1988. The Department has also published a number of research reports on the effectiveness of the urban programme; details are set out in an annual publications list.
