§ Mr. Peter BottomleyInformation about keepers of vehicles is released free only to the police, local authorities investigating offences and the keepers themselves. Other enquirers must be law show reasonable cause for their inquiry and pay a £3.50 fee. Data protection principles require all inquiries to be treated on their individual merits.
