"Employment for the 1990s"

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many representations he has received so far following the publication of the White Paper, "Employment for the 1990s"; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Cope

To date, over 600 organisations and individuals have made representations about the White Paper "Employment for the 1990s". The overwhelming majority have expressed interest in and support for the establishment of the new training and enterprise councils.
