To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received concerning the proposals of the European Community regarding the preferred route for the A590 Dalton-in-Furness bypass in Cumbria; and if he will make a statement.

The objection period for the published orders end on the 28 February. So far four objections have been received. A public inquiry may be necessary if these and any further objections are not withdrawn.
