§ Mr. Douglas HoggResponsibility for the naming of new prisons rests with the Secretary of State. In accordance with usual practice the local authority—the London borough of Greenwich—has been invited to suggest a name for the new prison at Woolwich. A decision will be taken as soon as possible after its response is received.
