To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he last had a meeting with the chief constables of police forces in Wales; and how frequently he holds such joint meetings.

In exercising his responsibilities for the police service in England and Wales my right hon. Friend frequently has meetings with chief constables. My right hon. Friend has not found it necessary to hold meetings with chief officers of police forces in Wales as a separate group.
