§ Mr. LangGovernment responsibility for the coal industry in Great Britain, including Scotland, rests with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Energy. My right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland has therefore not discussed the industry with Mr. Wheeler or the National Union of Mineworkers.
