The Secretary of State has no immediate plans to review the priority areas for city grant.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will outline the criteria for deciding priority areas for city grant purposes; and if he will make a statement.

Priority for city grant is given to the 57 local authorities invited to submit inner area programmes for support under the urban progamme.
