The offer of Welsh Water shares to the general public was oversubscribed to an extent that the clawback provisions set out in the prospectus on the water share offers were triggered. Thus, 39.25 per cent. of the shares on offer was allocated to institutions and 46.875 per cent. of the shares on offer was allocated to applicants in the retail public offers.
