§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyA total of 188 expressions of interests in NHS trust status have been received so far. I understand that sponsors of some 79 of these intend to prepare draft applications for NHS trust status in April 1991. My right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State will consider all applications for trust status on their merits when received.
