To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will place in the Library a copy of his Department's recent report "Manpower and Recruiting in the Lean Years of the Nineties".

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what were the amounts spent by his Department on recruitment advertising in the years 1985–86 to 1988–89; and what is estimated for 1989–90 for(a) the Regular Army, (b) the Territorial Army Volunteer Reserve and (c) the Home Service Force.
