§ Mr. TrippierThis Department does not maintain records of tritium imports. Users of tritium must be registered by HMIP under the Radioactive Substances Act 1960. A condition of registration requires that proper records relating to the keeping and use of all radioactive material must be maintained. These records are subject to scrutiny by HMIP inspectors.
