§ Mr. Lilley[holding answer 4 December 1989]: Each national survey office includes a great number of items in its retail price index, details of which are published in national statistical sources. Copies of the relevant material have been placed in the House of Commons Library. The information requested for the United Kingdom was published by the Department of Employment in the Employment Gazette for April 1989.
