Whether the missiles going by the names "Silkworm" and "Jericho" are among those under the regard of the Missile Technology Control Regime in which the United Kingdom participates.

We have no reason to doubt reports in the press which describe the Jericho I as a 500km range missile with a 450kg warhead and the Jericho II as a 1500km range missile with a 1000kg warhead. As such, both missiles fall within the parameters of the Missile Technology Control Regime. The Chinese Silkworm missile, claimed to have a range of 95km with a payload of 450kg, does not.
