§ Mr. MacleanIt is not possible to identify separately all the costs of the new Food Safety Directorate in 1989–90 because some parts of the organisation are not subject to decentralised budgetary control. From 1990–91 the directorate's budget will be fully decentralised and the allocation, which is now being finalised, will be published in the Supply Estimates.
