§ Mr. LilleyInformation on the investment of financial institutions in United Kingdom and overseas company securities is published regularly in "Financial Statistics"—for pension funds in table 7.14, for insurance companies in table 7.13, and for unit trusts in table 7.11. The figures published show the market value of investments at the end of each calendar year, and the cash value of net acquisitions (purchases less sales) in each quarter. There is no monthly information.
