How many appeals have been submitted to the Social Fund Commissioner to date and what have been the results.
§ Lord SkelmersdaleI am advised by the Social Fund Commissioner that between 11th April 1988 and 31st March 1989 Social Fund Inspectors received 2,954 applications for review. They have reached decisions in 2,499 cases. The results are as follows:
Social Fund officer's decision confirmed 1,294 Case referred back to the Social Fund officer for determination 1,109 Social Fund officer's decision substituted 96 TOTAL 2,499
