To ask the Secretary of State for Transport whether he will consider the provision of a footbridge over the A6 bypass at Barton-le-Clay, Bedfordshire.

Provision cannot be justified on the basis of known pedestrian/cyclist movements and expected traffic flows.

The situation will be reviewed following completion of the bypass.
