Mr. Archie Hamilton

Exercise North Star 89, a United States national maritime exercise with multinational participation, including the United Kingdom, took place from 6 to 15 March 1989. Detailed assessment and evaluation of the exercise is currently being undertaken by the United States authorities and the NATO countries which participated. From a United Kingdom viewpoint, early indications are that the exercise was a success.
