HC Deb 04 April 1989 vol 150 c101W
Dr. Cunningham

To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what restrictions are there on the use of the words "Royal Mail" in marketing services in relation to the implementation of the community charge.

Mr. Forth

Only standard services currently offered by the Post Office to any of its customers are being offered to local authorities to assist them in the implementation of the community charge. Royal Mail Letters, like Royal Mail Parcels, uses the words Royal Mail in marketing these standard services.
