§ Mr. LuceIn 1988, £23,391 was spent by my office on computer consultancy contracts. The sum was the balance of expenditure payable to AMTEC consulting for work on the Government art collection database project, commissioned in 1987. No money was spent on management consultancy contracts, and no management or consultancy contracts were awarded in the year.
