To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish a table, on the same basis as his reply to the then hon. Member for Kensington,Official Report, 3 December 1985, columns 173–4, showing the rates of child benefit, single person's tax allowance and married man's allowance at current and at 1979 prices, in April each year from 1979 to 1989.

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the total amount spent by Her Majesty's Stationery Office in 1988 on management and computer consultancy contracts, excluding hardware and software purchases; and if he will list each management or computer consultancy contract awarded by Her Majesty's Stationery Office in 1988, giving in each case the name of the consultancy firm and the subject of the assignment.
