HC Deb 31 October 1988 vol 139 c545W
Mr. Wigley

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many representations he has received during the past six months(a) from local authorities, (b) from individual councillors and (c) from members of the general public concerning the need for a bypass for the villages of Llanllyfni, Penygroes and Groeslon on the A487 trunk road in Gwynedd; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

There have been representations from Gwynedd county and Arfon borough councils and approaches from three councillors. Following discussions with Gwynedd county council, the county surveyor has been asked to review and report on the trunk roads in the area, updating earlier work in the light of current highway standards.
