A report of the conference, including recommendations made at it, is being prepared by the Commonwealth Institute, which hosted the event with strong support from the New Zealand Government. It should be available next month.
The conference discussed a wide range of environmental issues of concern to Commonwealth countries in the Pacific. It was attended by Government representatives and other individuals from those countries, from Australia and New Zealand and from the United Kingdom.
