§ Mr. LeeIt is estimated from the Labour Force Survey that 3.6 per cent. of the economically active in Great Britain were in seasonal, temporary or casual jobs in spring 1983 (the earliest year for which data is available). An equivalent figure for the spring of 1987 was 4 per cent.
