§ Mr. ForthThe approximate numbers of staff in receipt of local pay additions in my Department are: administrative assistant—770; administrative officer—1,200; typist—250; personal secretary—240; senior personal secretary—40; typing manager—27; executive officer—35. The additions are being paid (but not necessarily to all these grades in each location) in the Department's offices in central London, Croydon, Reigate, Eastcote, Reading, Watford, Kenley and Cambridge. The annual cost is approximately £1 million.
