§ Mr. Chris PattenWe do not give official aid to Cambodia, and shall only be able to consider the provision of such aid when a government acceptable to the majority of Cambodians is in place. We are currently considering the provision of humanitarian aid via British non-governmental organisations working in Cambodia, and we contributed £100,000 to the World Food Programme/Food and Agriculture Organisation appeal launched in May.
