However the cost of policing the Orange Order parades in Portadown from Sunday, 10th July through to Wednesday, 13th July has been estimated at £230,000; figures for the cost of military support to the Royal Ulster Constabulary in Portdaown during the Orange Order marches are not available. These costs will not be recouped. It is not possible to cost day-to-day military activity in the Province, nor is it our practice to identify specific army regiments.
