To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what information he has received concerning political developments in the Baltic states.

We are following developments in the former Baltic states closely and sympathetically. We receive reports on them from a wide range of sources.

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if the United Kingdom representative at the United Nations meets with the representatives of the Baltic states.

The former Baltic states, unlike the Ukraine and Byelorussia, are not separately represented at the United Nations.
