To ask the Secretary of State for Defence when he last met the Saudi Arabian Defence Minister; and what matters were discussed.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence last met the Saudi Arabian Defence Minister earlier this month. A wide range of defence issues of mutual interest were discussed including project Al Yamamah which covers the supply of United Kingdom defence equipment to Saudi Arabia.
