To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what was the United 69W Kingdom's net official development assistance as a percentage of gross national product for each calendar year from 1978 to 1987; and what is his estimate for 1988 and 1989.

The information for the years 1978 to 1987 is as follows:
