To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many(a) men and (b) women are (i) district general managers and (ii) regional general managers in the National Health Service.

Mr. Mellor

Of the 14 regional general managers 13 are men and one is a woman. The 190 district general managers comprise 182 men and eight women.
