§ Mr. CorbynTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many times each of the Guildford four have moved prisons; what the reasons are for their moves; what information he has concerning their medical condition; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. HurdMy hon. Friend wrote to the hon. Member on 22 November in reply to his recent question seeking similar details (col. 881) and a copy of the letter has been placed in the Library.
Most of the moves involving the four inmates have been for operational reasons or in the interests of good order and discipline. I have no information which suggests that their present general medical condition is other than satisfactory.

These have raised a number of specific points about the case, and some have enclosed other documents. I shall make a statement as soon as I have completed consideration of all the representations recently submitted to me.
