§ Mr. SainsburyIntermediate level radioactive waste produced as a result of the refitting and supporting of nuclear submarines has been stored at Devonport since 1972. The present proposal is to build a special facility to store the waste until it can be disposed of elsewhere. We have received representations from around 20 local residents and from four hon. Members.
