§ Mr. ViggersFor the period up to 28 October 1988, 3,613 applications for grant have been received. 3,190 of the applications have been acknowledged by the Department which enables applicants to proceed with the work if they so wish. Of these, 585 applications have been formally approved and 29 have been rejected.
