§ Mr. Henderson
To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in what forum his Department intends to discuss the issues raised by the single European market with the trade union movement.

§ Mr. Maude
The single market was discussed at a recent meeting of the National Economic Development Council. Further discussions are planned.

§ Mr. Henderson
To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster how much money has been spent by his Department on information regarding employment issues in the context of his campaign relating to the single European market and 1992.

§ Mr. Maude
The DTI's "Europe-Open for Business" campaign aims to provide the most comprehensive information service on the single market available to business anywhere in the Community. Employment issues are covered in all the main campaign materials. It is not possible to identify the costs separately.
