§ Mr. DobsonTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) if he will give the number of academic departments in United Kingdom universities and polytechnics which have been closed since May 1979;
(2) what information is available to his Department from the universities and polytechnics and college funding councils as to the number of academic departments in United Kingdom universities and polytechnics which have closed since May 1979.
