HC Deb 07 November 1988 vol 140 c15W
Mr. Bermingham

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether any prison educational classes have been cancelled or curtailed in local or dispersal prisons during 1988.

Mr. Douglas Hogg

The unavoidable absence of teachers and the operational requirement of establishments have caused some curtailment or cancellation of classes in these establishments during the past year.
