§ Mr. David MitchellThe collision involved two foreign vessels—the Danish fishing vessel Pandalus and the Norwegian survey ship North Sea Surveyor. The Danish and Norwegian authorities are conducting their own 345W inquiries and surveyors from my Department are co-operating with them. The question of a fatal accident inquiry is a matter for the procurator fiscal.
