To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many full-time peripatetic teachers were working for each local authority in Wales in January; how many were shared with other authorities; and how many were part-time peripatetic technical teachers.

Information in respect of peripatetic teachers is not yet available for January 1988. However the numbers in January 1987 are given in the table. Information is not available on the number of peripatetic teachers shared between authorities, or on the number of part-time peripatetic technical teachers employed.
