2 Perinatal mortality rate: deaths under one week plus stillbirths per 1,000 total births
3 Infant mortality rate: deaths under 1 year per 1,000 livebirths.
4 The total period fertility rate (TPFR) represents the average number of children which women would have in their reproductive lifetime if the age-specific fertility rates for each area were to remain constant.
5 Total births per 1,000 population.
6 Rankings are from highest to lowest in all cases.
