§ Mr. RidleyThe number of staff assigned to Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Pollution since 1987 is 149 at 1 April 1987 and 182 at 1 April 1988.
The numbers of staff assigned to the Building Research Establishment, statistical services and water topics for each year since 1983 are as follows:
